Frequently asked questions

How does the SEO audit work?

Enter any public website address and we fetch the page, then check 25 on-page signals that search engines use to rank and understand a site. You get a score out of 100, a grade from A to F, and a prioritised list of every issue with a specific fix for each one.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. The automated audit is free, needs no account, and returns instantly. If you want the issues fixed, you can request a detailed manual audit at the end of the report.

Does the audit check my Google rankings?

No. It checks what is on the page itself, such as titles, headings, alt text, canonical URLs and structured data. It does not read your private Search Console or Analytics data. Ranking data needs a separate tool such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Google Search Console.

Why is my score lower than I expected?

Most low scores come from a handful of fixable things: a missing meta description, images without alt text, no canonical URL, or slow server response. Each of those is listed individually in the report so you can tackle them in order of impact.

Does the audit check page speed?

It measures server response time and HTML document size, which are real speed signals. It does not run a full Lighthouse test, because that needs a Google API key and takes far longer. For complete Core Web Vitals testing we run that as part of a detailed audit.

Can I audit a competitor website?

Yes, any publicly reachable website can be audited. The tool reads only the public HTML, exactly as a search engine crawler would.
